  1. I enjoy this guy’s London underground videos but this felt like more of an advertisement than a “secrets of the underground”. I don’t know if he was pushed for time or whatever but he only mentioned the museum with the old station and train but didn’t visit it? He also missed out the fact that Scotland Street school is across from shields road which would have been much more interesting than a car park….

  2. Would have been better if he had visited a pub at each stop and the narration would have become more taciturn but aggressive as the film progressed, ending on the return to St Enoch with him challenging the world to a fight in broad local accent.

    Also, needed more secrets.

  3. Not enough secrets! Here’s one I was told ages ago: Pre modernisation, each station used to have a distinct colour scheme, this helped if you couldn’t read or if you were too pished to recognise where you were anymore.

  4. I saw a lecture from Colin Mackay about the Subway and he mentioned that you can see where the line was hit by bombs during WW2 if you keep an eye out for color changes in the brickwork of the tunnels
