First month, 3k downloads, 350 daily visitors. How do you ensure more comes out of your marketing efforts?

My cofounder and I created a small news app called [Newscoop](https://getnewscoop.com/android). We essentially provide summaries of latest events in technology, politics and entertainment. After having no expectations, we put up our [app on the Android store](https://getnewscoop.com/android) and received nearly 3k downloads in the first month.

To us, that’s quite a bit. Also, about 10% of our users visit the app on a daily basis, a rather low number to be honest. **My question to the community is, how can we learn to market our product and drive growth in the coming weeks?**

  1. That’s a pretty impressive effort for your first month.

  2. Offer some kind of in-app incentive for your users. Word of mouth is the best marketing strategy. Have that 10% of your users spread the word for you, otherwise it’s just going to the waste. Do something like what Dropbox did, offer more free storage for any referrals. As yours is a news app, you’ll obviously have to think of some kind of other incentive like exclusive access or something
