Best place to donate cookbooks?

I’m quite an avid cookbook collector but I have a few I want to get rid of to free up some space for new ones. I’d rather not just stick them on Gumtree or Freecycle for someone to sell them on for a profit as I want them go to someone who will enjoy and use them. It’s taken me years of collecting and quite a bit of money so I’d like to see them go to a good home. I don’t drive so I’m a bit limited in terms of actually taking them anywhere. Does anyone have any suggestions?

  1. What do you have? I quite enjoy cookbooks, particularly if you have any by Ken Hom or one pot recipes, I have a new years resolution to make two new dishes a month this year!

  2. I have a friend that runs Re-Craft Glasgow in the Hidden Lane. People often tell her what they are looking for if it’s something specific. She generally deals in craft supplies but you could reach out to her on FB as she might know someone?
