A coeliac with a craving for Chinese food.

I’m wondering if anyone knows of a Chinese around the city centre or west end that has decent gluten free options! It’s one of the things I’ve missed most since getting diagnosed with coeliac disease. Fucking soy sauce. Cheers!

  1. The Amber Regent has some GF options but I’ve not been myself. I know the Glasgow Coeliac group organise meals there occasionally. It’s worth joining the Coeliac U.K. charity (it’s free) – they have a bunch of restaurant recommendations.

  2. I know it’s not the same as going somewhere but there’s a book called The Takeaway Secret that has recipes for making all kinds of takeaway food at home, it makes it easy to adapt for dietary requirements

  3. You have my sympathies, every gluten free product I’ve ever tried has been utterly rank. I’m no scientician but gluten is apparently the ingredient that makes food taste good.
